The Plantation Hall, situated at King George V Playing Field, Colchester Road, provides Heybridge with an attractive, all-purpose venue for the village community.

Caretaker services include the setting out of furniture to suit hirers’ individual requirements and a reasonable amount of secure storage can be provided for materials and equipment needed by regular users. Special features are beech wood flooring and underfloor heating, with ceiling fans and air conditioning to re-circulate heated air or provide summer cooling. There is a door and serving hatch to the kitchen, and also a separate door to the meeting room (which can be used as a side room or bar for social functions).
