Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15 October 2026

by | Oct 1, 2026 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

Baby Loss Awareness Week (BLAW) 9-15 October is a time for people across the pregnancy and baby loss communities, and beyond, to come together, remember much-loved and missed babies, reflect on experiences of loss in whatever way feels right and raise awareness of pregnancy and baby loss.

The parish council will be supporting this event. There will be an area in our community space for reflection, with a memory book to record your thoughts. Rainbow coloured heart notelets will also be available to write your message and pop on the window.

It is an important time to let anyone touched by pregnancy or baby loss that there is a community that understands and is here for you.

BLAW will draw to a close at 7pm on 15 October when candles for all our babies gone too soon are left burning for one hour during the global Wave of Light. #BLAW
